Tera Term for PC Windows is a reliable software solution to connect remotely Telnet or SSH hosts. An open-source and free utility implementing software and emulating multiple computer terminals. Using several plugins, the utility lets you testing the network and determine the strength of a firewall, as well as perform multiple tasks automatically. The software was developed by Takashi Teranishi in Japan in 1994 and won the “Online software grand prize 97” prize in a competition arranged by the Japanese tool portal Madonmori in 1997.
Tera Term User Interface
